Based on what OpenAI has published about ChatGPT Health as of September 2026; ChatGPT Health is available in the US to adults. Neither product diagnoses or treats. Clinic features depend on your clinic using TyHealth or being a partner clinic near you.
Yes. You can ask health questions, organize your records, and prepare for visits on your own. If your clinic uses TyHealth, you can also manage appointments, messages, and check-in with that clinic.
No. TyHealth helps you understand your health information and prepare for care. It does not diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Yes. You choose which personal records to share with a clinic, and your conversations are not used to train AI models. Read our privacy policy →

New patient, end to end
Prepare before the visit
From visit to draft notes
From denial to appeal
Keep your EHR. Connect the front desk first, then add clinical tools as your practice grows.
Your clinic's data stays isolated, access is controlled by role, and every action is recorded in an audit trail.
Explore our security overview →Virtual Reception is the AI front-desk package: voice agents, SMS & web reception, scheduling, digital check-in, insurance capture and eligibility — everything before the visit. Enterprise is the full platform: everything in Virtual Reception plus the clinical chart, Scribe AI, claims & RCM, the full patient portal, enterprise reporting, and full EHR sync. They run on the same platform, so upgrading is switching features on — not a migration. See the side-by-side comparison.
No. TyHealth connects to AthenaHealth, Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), eClinicalWorks, and NextGen Enterprise. You keep your EHR; we add the patient-facing layer, AI agents, and RCM workflows. If you'd rather consolidate, our native EHR can fully replace it — but it's never required.
Virtual Reception typically goes live in 2–4 weeks; a full Enterprise rollout runs 4–6 weeks with a phased launch (booking → check-in → scribe → RCM). We handle EHR adapter configuration, data migration, and staff training. Larger health systems run on a 90-day plan with staging and production environments running in parallel.
Yes — and we don't trust the AI with sensitive actions. Callers complete server-enforced identity verification before sensitive account actions, every step is permission-checked on our servers, and anything out of scope transfers to a human with the full conversation attached. Every call is transcribed, summarised, and audit-logged.
TyHealth is HIPAA-compliant and SOC 2 ready/in progress. We sign a Business Associate Agreement before any PHI is exchanged, and our subprocessors (Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Daily.co) all operate under their own BAAs. Full security documentation is available on request.
