We started at the front desk.
TyHealth was founded in 2026 by engineers who had seen, up close, how much of running a clinic is spent working around software. A phone system from one vendor, scheduling from another, intake forms, eligibility checks, a patient portal, dictation, billing — each with its own login, contract, and support line, and an EHR that none of them really talk to.
We started at the front desk, because that is where every patient journey begins and where the most staff time disappears. Virtual Reception answers the phones, books with the practice's own rules, and checks patients in. Enterprise adds the chart, Scribe AI, and claims on the same platform, so switching it on is a setting, not a migration.
We didn't set out to add a ninth tool. We set out to remove seven.
Then we built the other side. TyHealth for patients is a personal AI health assistant that keeps records, requests, and appointments connected to the clinic that treats them — because a patient and their clinic should be looking at the same system.
